The Story Of
Jesus With The Stars
Jesus, no doubt, looked up into the night sky and likely experienced a similar awe and wonder that we experience when we look up. If I look closely at the arrangement of the stars, I might find two significant hidden things. I wanted to capture the spaciousness of this artwork.
We like to name things and assume we know them. The infinite, however, is beyond our finite conceptions. Jesus was both the Son of God and the Son of Man. He understood us and he knows us still. God descended from the heavens so that He can claim the experience of knowing man- to be able to sit with and understand me and you. He is the light and life of the world. This is Jesus with the Stars and Jesus with us. May his presence surround us. May this work inspire us to always remember him.
Infinity cannot be captured, but perhaps there will be room within my family’s heart to let his presence in a bit more each day. This is my intention- that if this art is on your wall, your family might feel inspired to connect with the infinite- the Son of God and the Son of Man. Perhaps, you might also see yourself in the stars.

I think of Mary Magdalene as one of the most courageous of disciples. I think of her as one who deeply understood and trusted Jesus, and helped advance His work. ❤️
